Camping World RV tours

Has anyone bought a package deal to a Nascar race through Camping World? I am wondering if its worth the price??

RocklandRv one of our members is going on one at Daytona, check the Daytona 500 thread for that.

The thing with any of these is usually to keep the prices low they have no services with them, so be sure to check into that depending which track you are going to.

Group camping is always nice, like people,like likes:)

I went ahead and booked the Camping World trip to the Daytona 500 2008. Its the first in three areas: First Camping World trip, First Daytona 500, First NASCAR race (in person).

I also wonder it is worth the price. It seems like a lot of stuff wrapped into one package for about $2500. I just wonder about the camping at the Volusia Fairgrounds. Supposed to be full hookups but how is it?

UPDATE: I contacted the "wagonmaster" (host) for the tour who has been running the tour for CW for about 11 years. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a brief run down on the speed week events. For the price we get 6 nights full hookups, motorcoach transportation to and from all events. We go to the track for a tour of the Experience and a tram ride around the track (sounds like a thrill in its self). Then we have tickets on the front stretch across from the pits for the 150s. Then reserved grandstand seats "high up" (with view of the whole track) for the Truck, Nationwide (aka Busch) and Nextel races. All in all over 1500 miles of racing action. We can't wait!!

Went to The All-State 400 at The Brickyard. had a great time. If you like camping and nascar you should have a great time also. I've been to Daytona. If this is your first nascar race you sure picked the perfect race. Hope you have a great time
