Avatars are now here!!!

I changed the coding on this site, so you can now do avatars :D

What this all means I truthfully dont know, but one of our new members uploaded a kitty cat, so I guess that is what an avatar means, so as I learn more I will post, unless anyone else wants to share :lol:

It limits us regular users to 6KB's...you must have a much larger limit!!

Actually I am getting the same warning, and it rejected a lot of my attempts, but instead I uploaded this directly from our website, so I guess the rules for that are different. :?

yep...the space is already in use, you just transfered the image. smart move!!

That is what I had to do was use the URL from my eBay page where I have my Pig at ...worked famously that way. Can't be named BigOlePig and have a small pig...sheeesh!!!!

I guess the only thing we neeed to worry about is if the website offsite goes down :shock:

This has happened to me on my ebay site, it keeps losing one picture :evil:

I'm going to ask one of my art people what they can do with the pictures we have, it would be a safer thing to have it stored right on the bulletin boards server I would imagine.

Interesting also, is that EVERY post now has pictures on it, even old posts 8)

Here is something else if anyone would like. If you look down at my Siggy thing you can click on the Maxxforce and it will take you to my Myspace page. Also, if you click on David's Truck it will take you to his Web Site. Here is one that I have made for nascarcamping page. We can use a different picture and you can post those thing on other forums to try to bring more people over here. NascarCamping I see that you have a link in your Siggy would you like to add a picture?

This one was the easy one that I have learned. Someday I wont to learn the Photoshop one. I have put a space in between nascar camping, take the space out and you will get this.

save the picture and load it into there photobucket then use the sample that I gave.

This is an easy and fast way to host a file and resize it safely at the same time for your new avatar. Go to http://www.imageshack.us . now go to browse and find the file you want to use in your avatar. After you choose it, look below the browse button and it has a dropdown menu and a checkmark for "resize image?". click this option on and scroll down to 100x75 then click "host it". it will display different link types to your new avatar. copy the last link and then go edit your profile. At the very bottom enter in your new avatar link where it says "Link to off-site Avatar:" then click submit and your done!
