I have a question for anyone who has stayed in the infield at Daytona.
What is the best way to get around? I don't mind walking but I think I would see the races from more spots if I had greater mobility. Are those electric scooters you stand on allowed?
I saw a picture of someone on a pocket bike so I assume scooters are ok. Does it get to crowded for it to be worth it?

Thanks, Tim

Walk, forget about the scooters, to crowded, to much going on.

Plus "officially" speedway doesn't allow any "motorized" things like that unless they are registered with speedway and they give you permission. But Mr Camping is right, it is too crowded to try and use anything. Get your walking shoes on

So it appears bicycles, tricycles and unicycles would work, right?

I agree with Chris, you need to walk especially around race times there is just to many people to use a scooter or bike.

This is from the Official Daytona Speedway fan guide. . .

Pets, fireworks, firearms, motorcycles (except during motorcycle events), bicycles, skateboards,
three-wheeled vehicles, ATVs, scooters, lift trucks, tractor trailers, platforms, scaffolding or box

I'll just take the tram around to everywhere. I'm sure its nuts especially by the start of the Gatorade Duels and for Sunday - forgetabout it.
