I have a 2006 All-American Sport 38RLTS. I went to pick it up from storage and the battery was dead. The jacks in the front would not work. My question is when you plug the RV into the tow-vehicle is the battery suppose to charge and should the jacks operate. If so what could be the problem if they don't. Thank you for your help Steve

once you plug the the trailer into the tow vehicle there should be 12 volts in the trailer which will charge the battery at 1 or 2 amps of current because the alternator on the tow vehicle is watching how much charge the battery in the tow vehicle is getting and does not care about the battery in the trailer. so with that said you need to check that there is 12 volts at the plug and see if it is getting to the battery on the trailer easy to check plug the trailer into tow vehicle and all the lights in the trailer should work if not there is a fuse at the battery or near there that may be blown or the other place is under the hood if its a newer vehicle the is a fuse in the power distribution box labeled trailer pwr either a 30 or 40 amp maxi fuse or the last thing is the wire in the plug has broken
hope that gets you started on where to check
