Has anyone heard about them or stayed there. Google earth Says its a 3/4 mile walk to track from our camping spot. and has full hookups. Booked it for the season and there renewable spots with upgrading available. Just wondering if anyone has stayed there or been thru the Campground. Thanks for any input.

We've stayed their the past couple of years (Farmer Bob's before that.) Can't speak to the exact distance from the track - but I'd guess in the 1/2 - 3/4 mile range is pretty accurate. The straightest route to the track is a pretty good climb in both directions. There is a track shuttle stop close to the front entrance, and there is usually a van or 2 going through the campground to "shuttle to the shuttle".

If you like bluegrass music, they have a band playing a few hours each night near the main building/shower house.

We haven't had any issues with them, and the only reason we'd think of moving is that the walk back to the camp site after the Saturday night race can be tough. :-)

Let me know if you are looking for any specific info.

Up hill in both directions? I thought that was only my fathers walk to high
school. :-D

Yep, and a couple of years in ago during the March weekend .. it was in the snow and uphill both ways. :-)

I actually thought it sounded odd as I was typing, but it pretty much is the case. Uphill out of the campground, across the 394, and then up a small climb before cutting through the All American campground (which is all downhill on the way to the track).

Climbing the hill through All American after the race can be a bear.....
