Jacques Villeneuve To Join NASCAR Ranks?

4/8: According to a report in Saturday's Toronto Star, Canadian Jacques Villeneuve in confident he'll soon be in the NASCAR ranks. He has recently moved his home from Switzerland to Montreal to be closer to the series centre. In spite of his sudden departure from the Formula One curcuit last summer, the former Indy Car, Indianapolis 500 and Formula One champ says he is "100% happy." Since then he's gotten married, become a father and released a CD, yes a CD. Villeneuve says music is a passion of his - but it doesn't replace racing.

Well I just listened to an interview on Windtunnel, and if you read between the lines, yes the door is open, and if a team came knocking then I could easily see him taking a run at a Busch ride.

Jacques comes across as very smart,bright,intelliigent and likeable, and wants to only race where racing is " fun" as he put it.

This leaves only 1 series in question, that being Nascar.
