Just saw a new 2007 42 foot American Eagle that came into my local dealer, it is the new design with a full slide one one side.
I must say, that the room was incredible, what a new experience inside!
The jury is still out though on how they will do on the road, all that weight, and the fridge on the slide...... :?

We looked at them several years ago when they were first available on some of the lower priced Fleetwoood lines. Had the same concerns you have, but what a bunch of room.
We seem to be leaning toward the side aisle floor plans for the generally bigger bath and somewhat more privacy in the bedroom.

I love the side isle designs, it especially breaks up the rv into almost 2 seperate and distinct areas, it is almost like a small apartment, you cant really hear what is going on in the front/back when you are there.
I agree, the huge bathroom is very nice, its especially nice when there is a commode that you can actually fit on and use!
Winnebago had a 32 foot diesel a few years back we looked at, and Holiday has one in the endeavor line also. Winny also had one in the Adventurer 35 footer if I remember right.
I wish more manufacturers would do this!
