no...That winner is getting something in return to his/her contribution thus non deductible.
IT's just buying an expensive car in the end!

Generally, you cannot claim a tax deduction for the money spent on an eBay Giving Works listing. However, if the item you purchased was sold by a nonprofit organization, and the item description clearly states the fair market value of the item, and you pay more than the fair market value of the item (not including shipping), then you may be able to claim the amount paid that exceeds the stated fair market value as a donation to the nonprofit organization.

It has been my experience that when donating to one of the nascar related charities the letter they provide you thanks you for your donation but makes no reference to the charitable auction involved.
