I am an old Niagara/Hamilton guy who learned to skate on the Bay at the bottom of John St. Many, Many, Many years ago!!

Now retired in beautiful (in the summer) Port Elgin. New to Nascar but thoroughly hooked. Have only attended races at Pocono, Martinsville, Michigan so far but hope to get to a few more.

Just stumbled on to this site by accident and it is great!!

I also have fond memories of the old Cayuga drag strip while growing up in NFO.

The flag will fly proudly in my Nascar Bar which started out as a plain deck at my campsite in Pt. Elgin, and now has been closed in, decorated with Nascar signs etc. and has become a gathering spot for race fans on Sundays.

Who says old guys with imagination can't have fun!! Keep up the great work.

I didn't think we were going to get to a race this year, but watching on TV just isn't the same. We're debating on the fall race either in Phoenix or TMS because the camper (named Loretta) is getting itchy to hit the road. I wish we could go back to Martinsville in October but it's not feasible this year.

Long story short, now I can justify the flag. :D I will email my address and ship off a check.

I get notes like that in my Mailbox because the package is to large to fit inside of it. And because I have already been down there and told them never ever leave a package hanging on my Mailbox. Some I have to sign for and others I don't. I got one onetime and I thought that the President was going to have to sign for it. I had to sign a couple places and the Post-master had to also sign it and then scan the signature on it. It was a weird one.

What would it take to get a "Rookies Tailgate" bumper sticker on the 06 for the race? We may be able to get enough donations to make it happen.
