Got my renewal notices a week or 2 ago. Am going to still camp in the West Lot, am thinking of picking up some extra West Lot spots for other campers if anyone might be interested. I need to do this during the renewal/upgrade period. mr Camping you had some West Lots last year. What do you think about trying to get all of ours together if possible? All other campers, anyone got Daytona 09 on their radar?

We will definitely be there again. We received our renewal for the West Horseshoe but would like to try to get into the Yellow Section. We are going to try to upgrade when the date comes. :D

I might be looking for July race in '09 with a camper spot. If any one has a rough idear what they run for let me know, the wife has showed intrest in heading down there next summer. I need to start getting the finance picture together so We can decide if we can do it or not.

We are in the Green Section for the July race ... killer view ... and our spot runs $770.00 for the July race. They called and asked if we would be interested in getting power and water hook ups in the future and when we asked them how much that would make the price jump ... they said it would go up to $995.00. We said that we would still renew at those prices because it is hot, hot, hot in July at Daytona and the power would come in real handy to keep those A/C's running 24/7.

I would certainly pay more at tracks if the had hook ups.

Well I have a tow behind. I might be able to muster up the money for a spot with power so if anyone comes up with an extra camping spot please let me know. I may need enough tickets for 3 adults and 2 children I am not ready to make a commitment yet, but That is the race we are looking at.

Big you looking at infield spot and just extra infield super tix, Or grandstand seats and spot in west lot outside the track. I have been camping in the west lot, outside turns 1 and 2 for years. I like it for a couple of reasons. While the spots have no electric, water, I pay just $575.00 for my spot and its good for almost 3 weeks!!! With what I save on camping spot there I get 4 day tower seats for the Duals thru the 500. Works for me. Infield camping is nice, have done it few times before, but $$ for $$ I think the West Lot is the best value. You also get a pass for your car and can come and go as you please. Unless you are in Lake LLoyd or the new reserved yellow you can't come and go from the infield with your car. Speedway still has Camping spots inside and in the West Lot and there are grandstand tix still available too!! Guess you have to figure what you want to spend 1st and then figure whats the bestdeal for you.

This the July race? I could find it listed on the site yet. Does the west lot quite down enough to get some sleep? and how are they on Generators?

Sorry I was talking about the 500 In Feb, not the July race. Camping at track infield is much cheaper or July races than duringSpeedweeks

That is kewl. I have been out of the loop for a few weeks, people keep dieing.... My "grandfather in-law" and a few "old timeers" of my fire company.
Now that the weather has cooled of I have been trying to get alot of my outside work done before it gets too nasty out.
Thanks though, If I het the big time befor Feb. then I might chat with you ;-)
