Girls Weekend Out

I wish I thought I could swing this, but reality is vacation time and $$ are dedicated to races with the hubby....going to races without each other could be getting into dangerous territory.....next thing I know - he'll be wanting to go with ME!!! :p:D;)

My friend Cindy and I go to Homestead without the guys everyyear. I don't currentlly have a guy to leave home, but I was married when we first went and any guy I start seeing now better just except it. Plus I go camping single, but with a group, all the time. Don't know if I could swing a trip with this group this year, but I do have a 4door truck for getting us around in. Need to pick a track like Atlanta, Daytona, or Talladega.

I think it's a fabulous idea. Not sure if we could swing it for this year. I think the economy and the non-recession has everyone pinching pennies until they bleed!

Takeabreath and I have talked some about a girl's weekend in October at Charlotte. Still a possibility. Also thinking maybe Texas in November.... Johnny says I could maybe take the 5er that far on my own...

For my part, I'm in but need to see how the year's finances work out. (There's good and bad to being self-employed -- Vacation isn't a problem, but no work, no money!) Will have a better idea after we know how much Daytona in July costs us.

Funny Melissa... While this year might not be the best, next year could work. Will take a bunch of planning, would have to figure out a track convient for all. But it could be a blast, besides if we do it next year that gives more time to build up the bail fund:)
