Watkins Glen campgrounds

Just got tickets for the race and can't find a close campground that is rated in any guide. How is Cayuga Lake campground? It is 7 miles away from the track with 20 sites. I am driving a 40' Pusher and towing a car and most small c.g. can't fit a 40' coach well. Anybody ever see this c.g.

hey pattman- Why dont you stay at gate 1 unreserved at the track? they have water dumps and pickups and close bathrooms. plus its only 60 bux for 5-6 days total. But if thats not your style there is a campground right down the road that i pass by when going to the store. it can't be more than 2 miles down the road. i will try to dig up the name of it but i think its a national chain of campgrounds becuase i recognize the name.

I am pretty sure it is a national chain of campgrounds with the name KOA. Should be familiar to someone. Anyways i would call now becuase that place gets pretty packed and it looks pretty nice to me. Like i said its right down the road from the track. Hope that helps!

OK, les than a Month to go for The Glen!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!! needed to Bring this back up to the top.
My First Question or statement is for ICEMAN.
I plan on Arriving on Tuesday if they are going to let us in that early. My wife has made it clear that I am hers’ for the cup race, but I can help out a little on a day or two leading up to that. Please let me know either way if you need help.

I am about to call the track to find out where my tickets are, I ordered and paid for them quite some time ago and still have not received them.
No Melisa I can't find a costume rental place with reasonable rate for the suit. Though I've been told that I look like a silver back in the pool.......
(How is that for a mental Picture?)
I have the floor fixed in my little Sunline, now I am rebuilding the couch/bed. Trying to make it a little bigger so my wife and I can both sleep at night.
Also, some Stickers, and magnets might be good to have on hand to hand out. Who ever I need to talk to about getting some can PM me.
Any info that might help me out at the track would be aprieciated folks, so thank you in advance.
