Dinner Date tonight!!

I had the BEST surprise for me today!! I got a call that Judy (Takeabreath) was in town. We met at a restaurant here and we talked and laughed for over three hours. It is incredible when you meet someone for the first time and it instantly just clicks!! I have not laughed that hard in forever.

Just want to say to Dear Judy...THANK you for our dinner. I hope that whenever you are in this area we can make a date to get together. And hopefully get that Texas idea done!!

This just further reinforces how great this place is and the leve of friendship you can have with a person you have never met. I swear it was like we knew each other for years and were just "catching" back up.

oh guys, i'm blushing and my head is so swollen that i might not make it out of the office door today!!!

melissa, i will absolutely be calling you again when i head thru there. i'm up there atleast once a quarter! so now i have someone to have dinner with when i'm on the road! GUYS, you should see melissa's garage! it is the bomb! she needs to take pics and post here on the board! i could have stayed for hours just looking at all the stuff she has in there! but since it was late and i still had a 4 hour drive ahead of me i had to leave! sure didn't want to we could have talked all night! do you think it would be ok for me to copy you garage decor into my den!!!

chief and jenny, i had so much fun with the both of you on our dega adventures. i'm SO disappointed that you will not be there this fall jenny. wanted to make another trip with you guys to THE OTHER SIDE! also known as north side free camping or as i lovingly call it "Clothing optional".

and finally to Chris, you have created a wonderful arena for all nascar fans to gather become friends and share their love of nascar. thank you for all you do is just not enough, but i do thank you for all my new friends.

carol, funny thing is that i will be coming thru austin next sunday!! will be coming in from a weekend with my grandbabies in san antonio! so lets do some pming and exchange phone numbers and we will just have to meet up for some chow on sunday afternoon!!

It is so cool to know that you two ladies had a chance to meet in person. E-mailing, posting messages and talking on the phone is one thing but being able to get together is something totally different, isn't it?

I suffer from Cluster Headaches and have found support thru other sufferers via a website. I've posted, e-mailed and chatted with these wonderful people for about 10 years but finally got to meet many of them while they were traveling thru the area where I live, by attending Meet and Greets and by going to our yearly conventions.

The first time I met these people was like walking into a room full of people who I had known forever.

Hope you ladies have a chance to meet up again really soon!!!
