did i just hear correctly on NASCAR now that fontana, atlanta and dega's fall dates are probably going to change!!!
Atlanta to labor day weekend and Dega to go to Halloween weekend!
OMG that will screw up my schedule for attending the fall Dega race!!
Please tell me they are just talking out the other side of their mouths on this one and it's just the media that is doing this!!!!!

Talladega and Halloween, that could be quite a combination! LOL Already have some of the wildest costumes and scariest too, or were those even costumes?;)

It will mess with us considerably. I will probably have to let my Dega season tix go if that's the case. No way can we do dega and Texas back to back.

Sounded like it was only a small chance it would happen, BUT it will hurt me also. I guess I could go to Talladega then drive the MH to TMS park it there and drive the Jeep home to Houston and then back for the races and then take the MH back home. That would save some gas and be able to get in the same amount of work (and play:mrgreen:). I like to spread the races out a little.
I vote NO

I've heard the same thing, something about some of those races always running into bad weather, so they are discussing swapping dates so that they have less of a chance for bad weather.

That's crappy to hear. That's as bad as bumping Atlanta and Bristol in the winter/spring. My father would do Atlanta, Bristol, Martisville.. 3 consecutive weekends, now he dropped from Martinsville cause they are spaced apart.. Its a shame, I think the only way to change race dates is if the track looses a date. This affects the people with season tickets too much, and your holiday sced...Sucks..

I think that I was reading someplace that they were not going to change the dates for the 2009 season. If the dates gets changed it would be in 2010.
