Increase of used RV's etc for sale

Don't think I'm not the only one that has noticed, but I am seeing ALOT more used RV's, travel trailers, 5th wheels etc for sale in the past couple of months. I'm sure the gas /diesel prices are having alot to do with it. In addition have seen alot of dealers really dealing on new units on their lots. Many of them still have alot of brand new 07's they haven't moved in addition to the 08's. Guess between this and the interest rates, it could be considered a good time to buy, long as you can afford the fuel!!!:) Wondering if other folks are noticing this trend in their neck of the woods.

Haven't done much RV shopping recently, but I'd imagine it's similar to the housing and auto markets. It's definitely a buyer's market, if you have the cash or can get the credit to purchase.

When not going to races, I'm an indirect auto lender. While we (the bank) have tightened standards slightly overall due to the slumping economy, the door has almost been completely shut on financing anything with a V8 in it. The dealers are feeling it, too. I've seen Dodge Rams with an invoice of $20000+ selling for under $15k. Over the past couple of months, trucks and SUVs are dropping in value by $300-$1000/mo, a trend which probably won't be reversed.
