Dover lot 10 RV B & E

went to Dover 3 years ago, camped in the back (i think lot 10)
had a geat time, met some great people.
have recently read that some RV's had stuff stolen while attending the race!
we are going to the September Race, should i be concerned or ...
look for another camp site?

Thanks, last Fall had a bad experience at a small track (Osweego Speedway NY) Stuff stolen, smashed, ...
My wife is a little nervious, and thinks we should stay at a Family Campground rather than Lot 10.
Had a blast last visit to Dover, and am not intersted in the Family campground while attending a Race... but would like to keep the Wife too...

We have stayed in Lot 2 for the last few years and have had no problems with theft. The staff that monitors the lot is great and usually make a few rounds of the lot a few times a day to keep things in check.

You need to purchase tickets for all three races to stay in Lot 2.

We have also camped in Lot 8 which is a reserved lot. No problems with theft but the noise from the traffic on Route 1 was a bit much. Lots of people honking their horns as they drove by the race track all night.

Even though we have had no problems with theft, I put anything of value in the motor home when we leave the site. We usually have great neighbors who keep an eye on our stuff while we are gone.

Sorry about your experience in Osweego, NY. Seems that there are always a few idiots who feel the need to ruin things for others.
