Purchased a 2007 Puma 27 ft (by Palamino) in the spring of 2007.
Went on one big road trip last summer, since then the Trailer has been set up seasonal at Campground. The tires on the Slide side have been covered from the sun, but the right side tires have not. Noticed some 3/4 inch cracks in the sidewalls! The treads look fine. I called dealer and was advised one year warranty on tires. (of course)
so should I be concerned and replace them? We are heading to Dover in September, from home it will be an 8 to 9 hour drive.
Like most folks, hate to spend the $ if i don't have too, but if a tire was to blow, I might.....

No question replace them, but dont put the same ones one, see goodyear or michelin and put on some good ones even go a few load ranges higher if you could.

The tires the manufactureres usually put on are crap.

If I bought a brand new trailer tommorow I would most likely swap out tires right away.

Replace them, as it beats the heack out of this type of damage after the tire seperates!

I agree - replacement them for sure. Not worth the risk. We had to replace the tires on our trailer after 11 months because of a blowout. It was a hard way to discover that there were poor quality tires installed as standard.

well thanks very much for the info.
I guess I'm looking for some new rubber...before heading to Dover in Sept.

now I know how NASCAR feels, new rubber, that only lasts a few laps.

If they have cracks replace them no if ands or buts. Try to get a load range E. The problem with that is they r all made offshore even the Goodyears. My new RV weighs 13000# and it came with Mission tires load range d they r 15 inch. almost impossible to find 15 inch load range E. i have 16K on mine and no probs what so ever i chech them every time i stop other then changing axles and going to a 16 inch rim thats what i got.

The web link below will show where a tire was mfr. by using the DOT number stamped on all tires.
