Andrew Ranger has signed with Fitz

Wow, an amazing story comming out of Canada once again. After Patrick Carpentier proved himself last year and managed to get a contract with GEM here comes Andrew Ranger.
Our Nascar Canadian Tire series champion is on his way to live out his dream, all this because Fitz motorsports did not have a driver for Montreal, they called Nascar Canada and asked for Ranger to fill in for the Nationwide race in Montreal. Even with the result he had the team was impressed with this guy and offered some additional races in the #22 seat.

Alan Labrosse, Andrew's agent, ended up negotiating for the rest of the year. Andrew will race the #22 Fitz motorosport Dodge at:

Richmond ( 0.75 miles )
Charlotte ( 1.5 miles )
Memphis ( 0.75 miles )
Texas ( 1.5 miles )
Phoenix ( 1 miles )
Homestead ( 1.5 miles )

Let's encourage one of our Canadian kids and cheer him on, he deserves it, he's worked hard and is living a dream.

Oh and.....He's on a roll...After winning Montreal....He's just won Trois-Rivières!!!!!

I watched him last year it was a road course and he had an in car camera, that was cool, and a good driver to, I just hope that Patrick gets resigned so we can have a few of us there:D

Cutting his teeth at Bristol will not be an easy task but he has raced on an oval just like it before. That was in Nova-Scotia a couple of years back, I hope he can get his barings straight and perform to his own expectations, I say that if he gets a top 20 out of Bristol it will be a win for him and the team!

Thing is......I'm so confident in this kid that I'm betting on a top 10! Could loose my paycheck but.....LOL!

He is an amzing little driver....to finish 19th on a track he's never see in a car he's never raced in on an oval!!! Brought i back in one piece.
