Okay...I have seen the commercials for this thing about a BILLION times over the last few weeks...and to be quite honest...it makes me want to scream each time. (Actually I do scream...and next time you see the commercial, turn down your TV and listen closely and you will hear me...)
Is it just me...but isn't that just a robe that you put on backwards?????

I find it hilarious that you find the Snuggie advertisement ridiculous too. I saw it the first time on thanksgiving and looked over at my mom (with supposedly the most hilarious expression on my face as she burst out laughing when she looked at me) and informed her that it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen and that I'd much rather stick with a blanket. I also asked that she please inform my grandmother that we do not want snuggies because that is exactly the type of thing she would love to get my mother and I and I just am not so sure I could pretend to be excited about that one...lol!

Well and maybe it is better than her still trying to buy me clothes, which can be quite frightening(my mother actually burst out laughing when she picked up the sweater my grandma got me last year, thankfully I was smart enough not to show it to her while still at my grandmas). I love my grandma very much though and I suppose it just wouldn't feel right without the very "unique" gifts that she finds=) And who knows the snuggie could be useful...I could use it to make next years halloween costume!

I look back at the gifts from my grandmother with the same puzzled thoughts. She gave me a toy hairdryer set (play mirror, comb brush..etc) when I was 16 years old. I thought it was a joke until I called to thank her and she said "Oh I hoped you would like it...".
They HAVE to sell the Snuggie on TV, otherwise Walmart and all the other major retailers would be swamped with the returns the day after Christmas.

I would buy a Clapper, AND A Ch-CH-CHA-CHIA pet before I bought a Snuggie (the auto-open book light didn't even change my mind).

You should see the matching sweaters my grandma bought for my dad and my two uncles. Nobody could kept a stright face. There is a picture somewhere of the 3 of them wearing it.
must say I've never seen the sweater since that day lol

I promise...I am not a paid endorser of the Snuggie, or any other goofy "as seen on tv" gadget. But while we are on the subject...Is it just me or does that BILLY MAYS guy talk with his hands too much. point, then palms up, point again....repeat....repeat...

Oh boy...Billy Mays...Bill Mays Here...I hear him in my sleep! Aren't they suppose to be trying to sell the product or are they just trying to annoy the heck out of us or do they just know that it is off season for Nascar and are kindly providing us with some conversation material??

My wife and I hit the "As Seen on TV" store in the mall last weekend. Billy Mays is seriously on about 80% of the products in that store.
Unfortunately they didn't have any Snuggies - but I did pick up that electronic dog toe nail clipper/grinder. We knew it was likely junk but got it anyway just to try it - sure enough, it is JUNK. It might be good on a puppy or small dog, but was worthless on my lab's nails! $19.95 down the drain.

True... Sorry to hear the dog clipper thing didn't work...I saw those at Target and almost considered it.
Okay...next stupid item...the Ped-Egg...great concept...right up until they show the woman dumping the pound and a half of dead skin into the trash. GROSS...

You seriously haven't seen the Ped egg one!? Gosh it is on all the time on it seems like every channel and the thing truly is awful it looks like a cheese greater ...there is no way I would try that thing! Thank goodness my feet are just fine without anything like that..ick!!

They need to make a CHia race car, that is what they need to do. The oversized robe is a ripoff from something they were selling on QVC.
The clap on clap off might be a problem in the bed room.... The neibors might figure out what is going on....;-) slap slap slap.....
The ped egg? Iv'e got a belt sander that does a better job..... you just have to watch the speed setting .......
O.K I'll shut up now....

Ohhhhhhh BIGGIE you're back!! The thought of a belt sander on my feet sounds better than a cheese grater!!
