Just wondering if the tech's have had experience with these shades.
These are not Carefree's like the others. But some a brand made in Canada. There is NO documentation on them at all. I was able to email someone from there. They said they have to come down. These are FRONT windshield shades.
What has happened is. I was rolling down the electric drivers side shade and must have come down to far. The shade fell out. Thank God I wasnt driving. After checking. It was glued (sort of) on the wood roller and that has com unstuck. Mama got on the dash and we re stuck it to the roller. But when rolling it up, it stops with about 6" to yet roll up.
So we thought we would re stick it and roll it manually to get a couple wraps. But you cant do that as there is no way (that we know of) to freely roll it. ie no motor clutch type of thing. So we folded it about 6" and tucked it in and stuck it to the roller. That works and rolls up almost to the top or all the way up. But it bounces because of the thickness of it.
I guess I am wondering if anyone has had this happen to them OR worked on the power sun shades at all. I need some way to be able to roll the roller freely I guess.

Thank all
Don
