Blackberry log in help

I just got a new blackberry pearl, and I don't know how to use it!:oops:

I have been trying to log into this site on it and I cannot get it to work. It takes my user name fine, but my password is alpha and numeric. Generally when I am typing a text message, I can hit the shift key and the that gives me the number. I cannot seem to make it work on my login though.

If anybody has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! I bought it because I thought it would be an easy way to keep in touch on the web! Silly me!!!!:shock:

On my blackberry ... you have to use the Alt key for the numbers. See if that works.

Yeah, try the "Alt" key - that should work.

I can log in to the forum on my Pearl, but it's rather cumbersome to navigate on the tiny screen.

If this is your first device with mobile internet, you'll find some websites are better than others in how they work on a mobile device. Ie, my wife uses Facebook and Yahoo on her Pearl with just about the same ease and functionality as a real computer.

Thanks! I will try the alt key.

I definately find that the more I play with it, the easier it is, but I was not ready for how much I was going to have to learn!

On mine its the two bottom left keys, yes one is the alt key.

Here is the ssue you will find surfing the web on your berry.

Some pages are to big to download and you will get an error message because the device doesnot have enough memory.

Figure out how to clean your memory cache, I do mine every day.

Also, removing the battery, waiting 10 sec and then putting it back in also helps dump files.

I will try alo but i can sometimes get the forum to load and then someimes I cant...:(

This website looks the same on my iPhone as it does on my home computer (a mac). After having a blackberry (for work) and now a iPhone, the iPhone wins hands down.
