Richmond bound tomorrow AM. Forecast is for highs in the low 80's with 40% chance of showers each day (:-(), although anything will be better than the Hurricane Hannah wash-out from last fall!! Really hope we actually get to see the race at night this time!
Let's go racin'!

We'll be on the look out for you. Plenty of open space at the flea market so far. Met Bill (bill) who is over in the grass. He doesn't post much, but we stopped by his camp site when we saw the Nascar Camping flag. Cignificant stopped by the camper this morning to say hi.
We are about 1/2 down the row from the round-shaped building and we'll have the flag flying high.
We are having a good time so far. Wendy has been working during the day, but she'll be done this afternoon and we can get "serious". :-)
Weather is iffy the rest of the weekend, so hopefully we can get the races in when scheduled.

Just back from Richmond! Awesome time in the Azalea Fair Grounds, and a good race too. Not sure what it sounded like on TV, but there were more cheers than boos for Kyle (in our section at least) - definitely different than last spring's finish!
Unfortunately we had had a bit too much fun on Friday we weren't "awake" for Wendy's Friday night walkabout! But we did meet up with them on Saturday - those jello shots are wicked. Hope you guys have a safe trip back to GA, and we'll see you at Atlanta in the fall.
Azalea is a decent spot for any of you looking to camp at Richmond in the future. Seemed like it was maybe 80% full, roughly. The tent section is nice - not very big, but plenty of grass and a good tree line. Only minor complaint was some folks with ridiculously loud generators running all night long (not much, if any, quiet time enforcement), but we got used to it after awhile, not the end of the world.

Glad you stopped by for a couple. We are part way home, in High Point NC currently, not too much further.
We came looking for you guys last night, trying to get rid of jello shots but there wasn't much sign of life at your tent. :)
