Yes, I know a 'rule is a rule' BUT this is BULL SHIRT:twisted:. I think na$car is trying to run the small guy out of racing. I just hate to see the guy put out of business for something that he can't control because he doesn't have the money to rent a Henrick's or EGC motor. I understand you have to send a message BUT could give him a warning with a "death threat" if it happens again. I don't think his motor was capable of even putting out near the HP of a fully-funded team. In his case it was not competive advantage.

On top of the fine there is a 12 race suspension for his crew chief, Charles Swing :(

Agree 100% with the 2 prior posts. It wasn't even a points race. I'm hoping the appeals board will see how overly punitive this penalty was and reduces it to something a little more reasonable.
