I'm looking at heading to montreal for the nationwide race & bristol and loudon for the truck races later this year. anything I should know about each track, places to stay, things to do etc. it will be my first time at each of the 3 tracks.

Ignore what I say. I see your from Halifax. Have fun. Just get seats for Montreal. The general admission area's stink.
All I can tell you is when you go to Montreal you need a Passport or you won't get back into the country.

Also, if anyone in your party has ever had a DUI, there is a very good chance they won't let that person onto Canada.

For the NHMS race, there is a Red Roof Inn about 7 miles south of the track, then in Concord (12-15 miles) there are all the regular hotels, Manchester (20 miles) has more.
For the Truck Race on Sat you can get reserved seats, which is usually row 30 and higher, or unreserved seats which is up to row 29.
Also 9 miles south of the track is a super Wal-Mart and plenty of places to eat. Depending on how much time you have the track is pretty close to the lakes region, plenty of shopping up there, some outlets. Downtown Concord has some places to eat but not much of a tourist destination.
What else would you like to know about NH?
