Texas Truck Race...

Just got back from the Texas Truck race...all I can say is what a picture perfect evening it was. The weather could not have been better...

Saw Shirley and Steve there...actually they thought they would be funny and sit in our seats so I would throw them out ( I have a reputation for that ya know...) however I screwed up and told her the wrong row number for our seats and they were two rows down from us. So they enjoyed the race near us.

All I can say is I can't WAIT for the IRL race tomorrow night...just hope the weather is equally gorgeous.

The race was not that great...was actually a snoozer in my opinion...but the incredible funnel cake I had MORE than made up for it...Tomorrow it is a Corny Dog!!! WOOOOOHOHOHOHOHOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I nevr thought I could fall asleep with trucks going by 200 feet from me but I did. The field spread out and they just drove in line all night. Very little passing except in the pits. I thought the IRL race was Sat night? What happened to the exciting truck races I always see. OH well it was a nice night.

okay...tomorrow...today...didn't realize it was after midnight when I wrote that entry...I was sleepy regardless!! You caught me!!! :p

David did a Great Job coming from the back! Yes, I also thought that it was a snoozer!! Yea, Steve thought that he was going to be a smart butt and set in her sets so that she would throw him out. It was still funny!! :)
