Well I have made it to another track while my hopetrack is off for the next few weeks. I made it down to the Blizzard #2 race where some of the top late model racers in the South came to battle it out. 5 Flags is home to the famous Snowball Derby held every Dec. The top 2 in blizzard points get an automatic spot in the race. The track is a fast 1/2 mile that has some great late model racing, well any class actually. I hope to make it this year to the derby but I hear you better get tickets as soon as you can. This year there are reports that Kevin Harvick is going to race in it. I took a bunch of pictures while there. They are from the stands so the fence is in most pictures.

BamaChief ... glad to hear you made it to Pensacola. We love going to 5 Flags ... it's a fun short track. We have a friend that drives in the bomber division ... he is also a state trooper (always nice to have one of those guys as your friend) ... he goes by the name Trooper Tim. He used to work for my husband while they were stationed onboard the USS SPRUANCE. Anyhow, we will be at the blizzard ... maybe we can meet up if you make it. We plan on taking our RV ... much better than driving home every night. Another great track (dirt track) is the Southern Speedway at Milton. Ken Schrader loves to race out there.

I hear the camping spots can get real scarce if you dont get them in advance. I do hope to make it down.

One of the local 5flags favorites is getting a shot in Arca/Remax:
She can really wheel the car and gives the fellas all that they want.
