I also have the same fridge as most of us do woth rv's. If you are checking the temp with nothing in the fridge it can take a long time to cool down to temp like 24 hours. Ive noticed from whem we go to Dega we load up about an hour from the track and it takes a good 6 to 12 hours before it really starts feeling cold. And we run both the propane and AC power at the track never a prob. Also Check your seal on the door make sure it is a tight seal. Good Luck

How old is the fridge? Dometic had a recall on a bunch of their fridges but I don't think it was due to temp problems, it was something to do with possible fires when running on propane. A couple of things to look at...first is that your RV needs to be dead nuts level. Also check that the temp control tube is in the proper place on the fins. Make sure the drip tray is not plugged and draining correctly. I usually run mine on propane when driving, helps stop air bubbles in the condenser.

The fridge is around 18 years old. The door gaskets are good. The fridge is level. I have not turned it off in around 8 months don't know if that could be the problem. It is not on the recall list. You talk about air bubbles in the condenser should I shut it off for a day or two Thanks Murph

If this problem started after a recent trip then yeah, try shutting it off for a good defrost. It can't hurt. Good Luck
