A great place to camp when going to the Dover race is the state fairground in Harrington De. They only open for camping race weeks. They have water and electric on site and a dump station is available. The fairgrounds are about 20 miles from the track, but it's an easy ride up rt13. They have a very clean shower house and a shuttle to the race each day. But best of all is the state fairgrounds is home to the Midway slots and horse race track. Life is real good when it's a weekend of car racing and gambling.

$35 per nite with water and electric, less with no hook up.

We camp at the Dover Mall.
This is right next to the track. The cost is $50 per night.
There is water and pump out service avalible.
This is nice because there is no driving involved once you set up your camp.
Again we split this with 3 to 4 guys so it's not that much..
