Congrats to Dave Blaney for winning in a 358 Modified in Port Colborne Ontario.

With the NASCAR boys rolling into town, it was thought that Kenny Wallace would be the top runner of the NASCAR drivers with him running more dirt races as of late. But its the quiet guys you have to watch for as said in the press conference before the nights events of Dave Blaney who sat on the end and never really said too much.
Blaney having more experience in the North/East Style modifieds really showed as he won his heat race and battled with early race leader Mike Bowman in the feature event. Blaney would eventually get by Bowman and went on to win the 1st Annual NASCAR Night.
" We come to a track up here and we don't know any of these guys and I don't know who was in that 71 car but he is one hell of a racer." said Dave Blaney of local 358 racer Mike Bowman.
