Thanks for joining, great to see another Canuck here:)

Actually have you heard that the Busch series is coming to Quebec?

No camping though:(

Maybe we should start a small meeting area?

The 20 car had the fastest times at Daytona today, and apparently the testing was so good, they packed up and went home:)

Tony had a substitute driver.

The 8 car had kedrry Earnhardt driving it, but apparently they changed engines and he was not to happy:(

If you look closely at our web site you can see the 20 car has its flag on the roof of his rig, there is a super funny story behind him and his wife going at it, after Tony Stewart was a "bad" boy at Daytona last year.

Its funny watching 2 seniors having a fight over there drivers:)

It's great that we are getting a Busch race in Quebec, but I will always consider New Hampshire International Speedway (NHIS) my home track.

Besides NHIS is about 200 miles closer to home than the track in Montreal Quebec.

I heard the 20 was fast all week. You would think that someone would hire Mike for a fulltime ride.

The 8 not sure what to think there either they are really on or really off. I hope all this contact stuff does not distract JR from racin hard.

What's your thoughts on Toyota I think it's great to see them, but they have there work cut out for them.

According to Speed yesterday, Toyota did very well in the practise sessions, they where leading, drafting, moving around, it seemed everything was going well for them. The only negative I can see is what the fans do, remember all the signs on Speed Tv about DW selling out, Pearl harbour etc..?

If I was Toyota I would be more concerned if MW Racing has the ability to pull this thing off. Toyota is obviously putting a lot of money into this, the heat will definetly be on the first few races from the media, it shall be interesting to watch :D

Another Newbie here. Looking forward to some interesting posts as this develops.

We have camped at Pocono, Dover, Charlotte, Richmond and Daytona if my feeble "Old Guy" memory is complete.

Looking forward to Feb. 6th departure for Daytona this year. We are back in site 109 at Lake Lloyd. Don't be bashful, come look us up. We'll be the little unit in the second site from the end, Coachman Mirada.

Along with camping at the NASCAR events we attend some Hooters Cup races around the country. Good racing, excellent value and driver access is really easy.

I'm a little short for time today, but as time allows I'll post some of our experiences from the past ten years or so of camping at the tracks.

I am down at 173,174,175.

I think I talked with your wife when I was handing out the flyers last year :D

Hey Fundytrail, we're NHIS campers! We only live about an hour south of the track, but head up for both races, dropping off the weekend before the race, then we come back on Wed night and stay till Sunday evening.
We're down in "L" lot.
Fundy, you know anything about Speedway Sports Park, the private campground near the track?

Chris,

Sorry for the delay replying, we've been off to the RV show in Pittsburgh. Just looking, really. Would love to trade up, but just can't swing the big step right now. Maybe in a year or two, or if Joanna hits the lottery. Not.

There seems to be a glitch in the clock and dates when posting. Maybe it's just me.

Bob

I think I finally got the clock settings right, since its in GMT it took awhile to get things correct. The server also seemed pretty slow in updating things also.

Hopefully things are better now, let me know if it does not work.

WE have a show here next weekend also, each year things get better :D

Yay! This is exactly the kind of website that I've been searching for. Can't wait to surf the whole site from top to bottom.

We camp at the Spring and Fall Bristol races, the June Michigan race, and Indy. After my husband retires, we plan on taking in many more!

Looking forward to meeting up at the races!

Welcome to the forum Nascar99 :D

The site is growing each and every day, we have been live with this message board for 8 days and already we have almost 30 people signed up!

The tracks you mentioned I had tickets to all of them this year, but had to cancel Bristol and Michigan :x

The good thing though is that other friends of mine where able to use my tickets and they had a lot of fun :)

For Bristol this year we are looking at the possibility of a private suite, we have 2 private suites at Indy and have tickets to the suites at Michigan.

If you have any pictures, please share them with us, stories, etc...

Thanks again for joining, hopefully we will meet up at one of the races this year :D
