Does anyone have this setup & what are your thoughts on it? I am thinking of getting one of these before Bristol and want to know if this is a good product.

Looks like a good product. Light weight and low cost compared to full size 20'-30' wheel or hitch mount poles. Check the seam sealer on the top ladder mounts often. Constant stress caused by flying the flag may cause a leak.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that.

That looks like something that the Bandit used on his RV but he placed his lower on the ladder.

I also would be concerned with stress on the ladder.. Have seen some that mount on the tow hitch, might be an option for you.

Have been using Flagpole Buddy for 2 years. When my son comes to the races I have as many as 4 flags on the mast. With regards to stress on the ladder, I am more concerned about it holding my 220+ pounds when I go on the roof. So far no sign of damage.
Cheers, John.

I'll be testing the limits of my RV ladder myself ( 6'5" - 280lbs) Yes, I also have a "Little Giant" ladder as a spare!

I have had one for 2 yrs and love it...easy to install on the ladder and easy to put the flagpole in. just make sure to get the correct one for your size flagpole or get a pole from them...

How is this working out for you? Which size did you get, and did you get the the pole and mount kit from them or just the mount kit? How many flags have you had on it at once?
We are starting the process of equipment replacement and working back through the threads for ideas. :D
Thanks!

It's been great. I purchased the 22' pole and mount kit from them. I've never put more than 2 flags up but more could be attached. It's very easy to put up and so far no problems. I like how it fits into the mounts on the ladder. I think that they had three different size mounts and you could purchase the actual pole elsewhere. Good luck. I expect to see you flag flying at the Landing come March.

If you can't find us by the flags, just look for the outrageous amount of green rope light...

The best thing to make flag poles are the fence railing pipe. The slip into each other go as tall as you want. Drill a hole for a nut and bolt for pully and another for the cleat to wrap the rope. Cheap too at Home Depot or Lowes !!!!!!!!!
