Is it just me or has the TV announcers gotten more annoying? I don't think their mouth is connected to any part of their brain. OK, it's true I have disliked DW since about 1983, but come on, he just compared walking outside barefooted in the middle of summer on concrete and walking outside on the concrete in the shade as to how the cars handle differently on hot and cool tracks. WOW, I don't remember coming in after running outside in the Texas heat barefooted and telling my wife, boy it's slick out there, or I got loose getting to the mailbox!!! PLEASE, just shut up. Don't say anything, let them race. I know it's tough with a producer talking in their ear and everything going on, but they totally ignored Mike Bliss hitting the wall and will then talk all day about a problem that isn't even there!! My only problem is Motor Racing Network and my HDTV are not in line (there is a delay) or I would be happy to cut the sound off!!

I would rather listen to Mike Joy, Larry Mac, and DW any day rather listen to those guys on ESPN.

Different strokes for different folks. I didn't mind that comment from DW. I understood what he was trying to say. I think sometimes they say things to help new fans understand whats going on.

One thing I like about FOX more than the other 2 who cover nascar, is that they show more emotion. Less scripted. And Mike Joy is a brilliant "flag to flag" announcer. Probably my most favorite in years.
