Congrats to all of the Canadian campers for the hockey win today!! I have to admit it was a nice distraction from the race!
All in all my wife and I have really enjoyed the Vancouver games. Seems like a beautiful part of the world.

Thanks! And the best part, Sidney Crosby that got the gold goal is originally from my neck of the woods :)

Thanks, the American team showed a lot of heart to come back like they did which sure made for an exciting finish.
You can see from the stands we are a wild bunch when it comes to both the world Junior championships and the Olympic ladies and mens hockey.
Now when you get both NASCAR and HOCKEY and a few pints of Canadian brews in your blood, you have a really wild group!!
Anyone considering a trip to the west would find British Columbia a wonderful place to visit.

P.S. Shirley, great picks this week.

It was something thats for sure!!!
I had the City of Waterfalls bus in Toronto, inside the International Centre, and when we won I blasted the air horns, to the delight of a few thousand fellow Canucks!!!
The video that NBC did on Canada was very nice, I will try to find the link and put it up here!
Great Games, and yes Vancouver and the Province of BC is an incredible place, a must visit for sure!!

That hockey game was awesome. I am not one to watch hockey on TV ( I will go to the games we have here in town (for the fights and the supersize draft beers :p) But it kept me on the edge of my seat!!
One thing that damn near had me fall OFF my seat was the closing ceremonies...When they had William Shatner and he was talking about drinking beer and still being able to pronouceJuan de Fuca. And then that woman that came out like two people after him and she was talking about writing your name in the snow, and they had the graphic of yellow snow behind her...I was like "WOW..is this appropriate" However I was howling about...:p
Decided those crazy Canucks have a pretty warped sense of humor!!!

The definition of "giving it all" was watching the cross country skiers fall across the finish line and laying there for a number of minutes before getting up. That was amazing.
