Last night at Montgomery Motor Speedway we had 31 Pro Late Models for our Show Me the Money II race. There were alot of heavy hitters in the line up with the likes of Augie Grill,Bubba Pollard, Tony Clark, John Bolen, Mark Day, Allen Gordon, and Josh Hamner. Josh Hamner won the pole with a 18.46 on the 1/2 mile oval. Augie Grill lead for most of the night until he had a tire go down and went a lap down. Chase Elliott made his way up to the lead and won with John Bolen hot on his heals.
Chase at the young age of 14 has proven to be a wheel man like his father. He regularly runs with drivers alot older than him and he is one cool customer. If you get the chance to go see him its worth the trip. He is a very polite, courteous young man. Bill and Cindy have raised him right and I am sure I will be a fan when he moves up to ARCA when he turns 16.
