JUST FOUND OUT THAT MYSELF AND THREE OTHER CREWMEMBERS FROM ARCA PETERSON MOTORSPORTS TEAM WILL BE HELPING MIKE HARMON IN THE GARAGE AND PITS AT DOVER.
SHOULD BE AN EVENTFULL WEEKEND, GOOD THING, SINCE I DON'T HAVE GOING INTO THE INFIELD WITH OUR PLATFORM TRUCK TO LOOK FORWARD TO ANY MORE THANKS TO THE DOVER ROBBER-BARRONS IN THE FRONT OFFICE.

OUR CAMP IS LOCATED AT ATLANTIC BOOKS, BETWEEN BEST BUY AND WHAT USED TO BE DENNY'S ( THEY JUST RIPPED DENNY'S APART ).

STOP BY IF YOUR NEAR FOR A COLD ONE !

do they make you guys purchase your own pit crew credentials? I know that my son has to purchase them for each level, and they aren't cheap.

the guy that's handling it did'nt say anything about paying for them, he would have told me a price.

i don't know ? , but before i got my arca master license, i would pay per race $50, after i got my master license now i pay $ 30 per race. I did not even have a license for all 2009.

I'm pretty sure my son paid $500 for his ARCA license, not sure what the truck was, and I thought it was $700 for the Nationwide, maybe he'll head in here and let us know. Those licenses allow him to go over the wall and work on the truck, it also includes insurance for any injuries he may receive.

I know that at the Truck Race, I had to pay $100 just to be able to go to the pit. For the ARCA race I think I paid $30 or $60, and again that only allowed me to be in the pit, but not to go over the wall or touch the car when it was behind the wall.

Since I was only doing the pit stop flag and always stood on the pit box side of the wall, I was all set, but I did notice the race official assigned to that pit kept a keen eye on me making sure I didn't do anything else. And when the truck went behind the wall, again he kept an eye on me making sure I didn't touch anything, only those with the licenses were allowed to touch and go over the wall.

Yea, we would not be going over the wall, we would be helping at the hauler and possibly doing sign or catching tires if we are doing anything at all, i still don't really know yet.

Arca license for year is $ 150 then $ 30 at each event.
