NASCAR Canada Race In Nova Scotia!!!!!!!!

Nova Scotia’s Riverside Speedway has announced a race on 15th of September 2007 with no details and in the near future NASCAR Canadian Tire Series announces their 07 schedule. NASCAR Canadian Tire Series have confirmed a race on the east coast but not yet revealed the exact location... :?:

NASCAR is coming to Nova Scotia. The "new" Riverside Speedway in James River, near Antigonish, has gotten the attention of the most successful auto racing sanctioning body in the world and will host one of 12 events on the 2007 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series (NCTS) schedule.

NASCAR Canadian Tire Series public relations rep Richard Coughlin comment's "...We do plan to be at Riverside on September 15. We will be releasing the schedule in the next 10 days or so..."

Only thing the race here in Nova Scotia is in direct completion for fans as the Cup race at NHIS is on the same weekend. Lets see 12 hour drive to NHIS for a Cup race or 2 hours to a Canadian NASCAR race? Extra 10 hours well spent :lol:

The media here is actually wondering what if anything is going to happen.

You would think that they would say something on their website :?

Maybe they are starting on the east and then heading west?

Lets hope Mosport and Cayuga get something.

Strangle but the web site I originally read the report from has removed all reference to the Sept 15 NASCAR Race In Nova Scotia, but the Riverside Speedway has the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Logo on their web??
