Carpentier want to run an oval in NASCAR

"I would really like to drive this car on an oval," he said, within hearing distance of Fitz in the aftermath of the race. "I was raised on ovals. I got my first win on an oval (Michigan) and my first pole on an oval (Mid-Ohio) and my first sport was speed skating, on an oval."

I say more power to him :!: It would be good for one of NASCAR's "diversity" drivers who actually respect the sport and it's competitors to compete on a regular basis. Good for him for wanting to continue!
