What kind of info are you looking for?

If you can not get good seats through the speedway, you can wait till you get there and walk through the campgrounds, If I ever need extra tickets NEVER buy them along the main roads into the track from the scalpers. Walk or drive through the campgrounds and look for the signs on the campers. Never fails someone always has extra tickets. And always for face value or less.

Just got a chance to reply DaBudMan,am interested in camping on outside perimeter at track. Have downloaded info from track website, but it is hard to tell what the area is like to drive into with larger units, mixed camping, and facilities availible :?: What are the driving accesses like and is there shopping re: groceries on these roads on the way into the track ?As we will be hauling nonstop from Canada. Still have a problem with importing food across the border. Tickets don't seem to be a problem as long as they are not required to enter track camping areas like some other tracks.THANKS.

Hey Jade, I cant speak to anything outside of the track, I have only stayed on Allison Motorhome avenue.
Would you be interested in staying on the infield?
As far as groceries, Dega is not like Daytona, you cant walk across the street to shop!
I take it you will be hauling but down I-75 and turning right at Atlanta correct?
Do all of your shopping before you get there, hopefully the Interstate will now be done reconstruction also!
Let me know about the tickets, and if anyone else can pipe in, please do so!
I am just down the road in Hamilton

Jade, your best bet is to get reserved camping in one of the Woods and Water Campgrounds, I am in WW 1 which is just behind the grandstands in turn 1. It is worth the $260 we pay.
You will need to stop in Birmingham and get your food. The closer you get to the track the more it will cost and less choices.

Spring Race was the first time we stayed @ Talladega RV Park....
www.talladegarvpark.com
This is family owned and the atmosphere is very family-like during race week. There was a good amount of "fun" but by midnight things were very quiet. There are on-site dumping stations, ice for sale and firewood...each site has power and water.... THE shortest walk I've ever had to the track! There are even port-a-johns at the property line (where it joins speedway property)! I just can't say enough about the "family" that runs the park.....soooo nice!
The fee is about $300...I thought it was worth it. We will be back in the fall!
By the way...the Fall Race is my personal favorite! Especially since the addition of the Trucks! Don't miss the ARCA race....that was THE best race I saw last year!

Cool Carl 8) see you have your own symbol :D
That campground is the one right on the corner just off of the main drag correct?
If it is those people are very nice, last year they came right out and talked to me and guided me down to gate 9, which I thought was very nice of them :D
Did you take any pictures?
Please e-mail them off to rose our webmaster and post a few for us :D
