Here's the email I sent to Dave Despain today for the Wind Tunnel "Fired Up" segment. I just "LOVE" the Chase fomat as you can tell. :P

NASCAR should figure out what kind of fines they are going to impose on themselves for “Actions detrimental to stock car racing” for their “Chase” format. What could be more detrimental to the sport than having drivers say that they either will race other drivers differently because they are locked in, or are contending for the chase? That’s NOT racing! It’s all a bunch of BS, NASCAR need to ditch the chase format and go back to racing all year round instead of this half whacked system they have now. We’re tired of hearing about the chase, and of the fact that the TV coverage ignores the remaining drivers – we want to watch a RACE…not a countdown to what WILL happen
