there are several stories out right now regarding the possible sale of NHIS to anyone of a number of different interested parties. I go to both races at NHIS and one thing I do enjoy there is the ability to bring a cooler into the track with your own beverages / food.

I hoping that when the track sells fans will still be able to able to do this, but I'm wondering how other tracks work this.

So tell me, of all the tracks you've attended races at, which ones allow you to bring your own food/beverages into the stands, and which ones don't?
And, what other rules regarding what fans can do / can't do, do you know of that are different from track to track?

Texas and Talladega allow you to bring in your own beverages and food.

The cooler size varies - Texas allows a larger cooler (taller - will hold 16 12 oz cans) than Talladega (cooler holds 8 12 oz cans) and neither allows glass containers of any kind. Both are more lenient on cooler size on Friday than Saturday and Sunday.

Both require that any bag other than a cooler be clear so that they can see contents.

Daytona lets you bring in a cooler, believe no larger than 6x6x12 must be soft sided, you can put ice and beer in it
