Should Petty be penalized for his physical attack of Hamlin?

Wow did I think Kyle was out of character when he went to the pit of Denny Hamlin and pulled down his window netting to offer some words of wisdom :roll: then slap Denny's visor.

In football they call that unsportsmanlike conduct and they throw a penalty flag. Should Kyle be hauled to the NASCAR trailer and get a good talking to and/or a fine and points penalty?

I have said before...this stuff is good for the sport. BUT...like you pointed out, this is the second "rage" incident with Kyle Petty in the last few weeks. I wonder what has gotten into him???

I have noticed that ever since he started to talk on tv as an analyst he has become more and more opinionated almost to the point of being over the top, its frank and very insightful, he knows his stuff and has talked about it in a way that is a breath of fresh air, but I have heard him almost insult his other tv hosts, so much to the point I think he needs to be taken aside and reminded that he is just a guest on the show, and that the show is not his.

For Kyle to all of a sudden been thrusted into the mainstream media like he has, this might have gotten to him, its like the King Edy syndrome all over again.

Just look back on his career, he was a hidden guy to be honest, but lately he is in the news every day, on tv, in car camera, in car commentator, etc...

Maybe he needs to step back and look at things for awhile before they implode around him. :?
