Its good to see Mikey get a pole, however, from the looks of things, all the Toyotas are at the front because they used a Qualifying setup and not a racing setup, so this might not bode well for them during the race.

Jeff Gordon won, which is great!!! Put him at the top of the points for now.

Dave Blaney came in third, which ain't shabby, his crew has really gotten it together.

Michael had a great race until he lost that tire and 'bout ruined the race! :x

The greatest thing about his team getting the pole is that they really need some good luck. Rumormill says he is thinking about giving it up. :shock:

I was jumpin up and down hoping Mikie would have won himself one this go round, but that tire blowout was sure disheatening for me.

Same for Jr.'s blown engine. 6 in a season? WOW!

I think Gordon should be applauded even though I am not a great fan of his. He was crafty by sitting back their saving his best for the lap that counted the most and then fought for the lead. Masterful!

Maybe Jr. was too anxious. He clearly had the stuff. Maybe he should have laid back when he had found he could pass. Same for Mikie. I think that they were both so desperate for a win they pushed just a tad too hard.

Clearly Mikie had a good car this week and still has the skills on the super speedways. I wish he could have pulled off a win or at least a top 5 for Toyota.

Blaney did a good job though! WOOHOO!
