Recently had the opportunity to see a Hooter's Cup race at the Iowa Speedway.
This is a one year old track, 7/8 mile in length that has the potential to be a host of some NASCAR events.
Don't think there will be any Cup races there but am hearing that the CTS race from Mansfield, Ohio will be moved there for 2008. There might be some possibilities for the Coors (Busch) series going forward, time will tell.
I would say that the facility rivals Kentucky for now, although it is a little smaller. Good racing and lots of potential.
If you are ever in the area when they are having a race check it out.
