Hi, got a genturi so I can be a good neighbor when running my genny. Instructions say to make sure the generator exhaust pipe is well supported before hooking this thing up. Any hints for what to support it with? metal straps etc?? Don;t want anything perminate since I am still in the rental phase, trying a few differnt brands before I buy. Thanks Gail

the best way is to install a muffler clamp with a strap to something solid
like frame rail or other metal support near the end of gene exhaust pipe then the genturi will be well supported

I used some of the suction cup hangers. I bought 4 of ones that were about the size of coke can(3 inches in diam) and just lick it and stick it on the side of the motorhome. Mine came with some rubber straps about 3 feet up the side of the tube. It has worked every time for me.

The Genturi is the best brand because it comes with all the different sizes of pipes etc...

BUT, you must also know that most coaches have a downturn in their pipes and the pipe to slip over wont fit until you cut it at a staright angle

Mastertech this is what you did with mine correct???

I'll make sure to double check that, went by and looked at the 31ftr I'm renting and the pipe seems to be straight but I'll have my neighbor double check it when i get it home
