Funny you should mention that. I have been on it for...well I guess well beyond a year now. How did you hear of the wait time? I have called the ticket office and they told me that the track had the list. So I called the track and was advised the ticket office kept the wait list. In any case I could never get any info on how long my wait was going to be or where I was on the list. I looked on Ebay before the Cup race this year and spots were going for more than twice the face value is another story in itself.

I called the track and before they were going to take my $25.00 deposit
she told me that was what the wait was -thinking I misunderstood her-I
called back and this time I tried the Travel Packages line and she told me she thought the wait was longer than that - I thought I would just try EBAY and from what you are saying that does not sound like a good idea

I dont know...it certainly cant hurt to watch Ebay...just have to be real careful when doing that as well. I for sure will continue to watch it. There were numerous spots on there this year prior to the cup race but again they all went much higher than I wanted to pay.
Oh well...we just need to keep hoping our names come up soon!!!

You are correct, there is a long wait for track camping at Kansas. We are lucky to have both a spot in the infield and one on the ridge for the last few years. We use them both. Probably the most practical alternative is to camp at the Woodlands Dog Track. They have a large parking lot which they section off and provide a shuttle to the track. It is only about a mile and half from the speedway and is the closest non track camping. We have a number of friends who camp at Kansas and if one them decides not to go and wants to give up a spot, I'll post the info here closer to race time. It is the least I can do, since we obtained a camping spot at the fall Bristol race through nascarcamping.com. You MUST go to Bristol at least once!.
