Canadian's Patrick Carpentier and Jacques Villeneuve are making the move to full-time NASCAR NEXTEL Cup (soon to be Sprint Cup) competition in 2008. The pair were joined by fellow open wheel star Dario Franchitti, also making the move to NASCAR, in a press conference during testing at Atlanta Motor Speedway Tuesday.

"JACQUES VILLENEUVE: I'm done with F1. I spent a lot of years there and gave it everything I had. I don't think I would have energy for F1 right now."

You know, I've been debating that in my head ever since the anouncements were made. I'm from Quebec, I'm French and I find it real real hard to go against either one....but...since I drive a Yota...I'll pull for Villo !!!

I'll still buy both jackets and ball caps ! LOL!

P.S. Carpentier was born in Canada but now resides in Las Vegas and has an American citizenship thus making him an American !

Villo lives in Montreal, Quebec Canada.....
