:D How much camping is available at LV? I never really hear of anyone saying they camped there, most say they got a package and stayed at a casino. Is the camping hard to get,in other words do you have to reserve a spot. Thanks :shock: :)

I'm sorry, I saw this late, and the race is over. But for next year, there are 7 RV parks on the speedway grounds, with 5000 spaces, and they were all full this year. It's all dry camping, except motorhome hill. This year we stayed in Hollywood, but next year my wife, and I are attempting to stay in checkered flag, which is right behind turn 1, and you can walk to your seat.

As far as reserving a spot, yes, call next month (April, or May), and reserve a spot for next year, they let them go on a first come first served basis. Except for motorhome hill, there someone in the family has to die, and leave you their spot in their will.

I waved to them, and that big flag that they camp under. I'm sure that it will count towrd getting their spot when the time comes. And I know that I'm some sort of relative.
