Default Daytona Infield Viewing Deck

This is the first year staying of infield camping. I own a seneca hd, 36', and have started making a viewing deck on the back end of the RV. The dimensions are 12' high x 8 feet wide, as tall and wide as the RV, and 7 feet off the rear bumper. The deck will be mounted using the back of the RV and bumper and it is really cool. Its all aluminum welded and totally awesome for race viewing. I have searched and searched the rules for daytona camping but cannot find anywhere whether Daytona will allow this type of deck and if I will be able to use it since it is not totally on top of my RV? Its totally safe, and easy to erect, but will if fly?? Comments please before I finish....

I don't know the rules but would love to see some pictures of your setup.

so this will be a setup basically behind your rig? like an extension off the rear?

it should not be a problem at all, they are more concerned about the flags

Default Extension

Yes. Because the roof space is filled with air conditions, vents, and satelite dish, etc..unless you roof over everything it very awkard, so I decided to use the last 12-16 inches of the camper as a stablizer built from the rear bumber, and then built out over 7 feet of "extension" off the back with full handrails and a combination of aluminum tubes. Its really cool but i am worried that the officials at daytona are going to tell me it falls under the very unclear and unexplainable "platform" verbage. It is 100% safer than standing on an unsuported RV roof. Not having been to daytona infield i am just concerned that they wont let me use it...thoughts??
