Default Carpentier Gets The Boot

FONTANA, CA August 29, 2008 - Quebec-native Patrick Carpentier spoke with Dodge Racing folks during down-time at California Speedway - indicating he is "getting the boot" from Gillett-Evernham Motorsports after what has been a reasonably successful season for a rookie. Currentley 37th in the standings and 3rd place rookie.

GEM has signed REED SORENSON.

Ain't that a shame ...The guy got in to most races on time, he's a good driver tat give great FB to his crew chief, he brings the cars back in one piece and they boot him for a POTENTIEL sponsor!!!!!! What a crock of sh!t that is!!!!

Now the other rumour is that Ford is waiting on the side lines to pick him up, might be going to Yates or take over the #28 car or to the #26 till Roush sends it to Yates.

Default Carpentier gets the boot

You would that Nascar is going the way of F-1 . Money talks. I ,my opinion that is ,read into this situation that Patrick just does not fit into the racing outlook of GEM . I think he is a good rep. for racing. Lest hope that he gets a good ride and excells.

at the end of the day American sponsers want American drivers Redd Sorenson has not done a thing in Nascar since the day he started, Carpentier has made all but one race on time, I think they r making a huge mistake but what do I know, See how Reed gets along with Kasey as i think Kasey called hiom the biggest loser on the track last year i could be wrong, but.
