NASCAR Foundation Track Walk at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 2, 2008

On Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 8:00 a.m., Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host the NASCAR Foundation Track Walk, which will give race fans the opportunity to walk a lap around the track.

"A NASCAR Foundation Track Walk is a great event for friends and family members looking for entertainment at the track between race activities. Event participants will enjoy a kick-off celebration prior to entering the track for their one lap trek. Get your group together today and get on track for charity! Track Walk participants also have the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the charitable causes supported by The NASCAR Foundation Track Walks by using our online fundraising tools and other fundraising resources."

Proceeds go toward The NASCAR Foundation, Speedway Children's Charities, and the Kyle Busch Foundation.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway changed in 2007 to make the 12 degree corner banking into a more challenging 20 degrees. It is a 1.5 mile oval that has a seating capacity of 142,000.
